Looking back now

I know I won't regret 

because i fill my head with promises 

and rejoice

who I was 

Well she's imaginary after so long

I color her in the ways I want to

And redraw her flattering lines

I've never stopped 

playing hide and seek 

Even now i'm running

like a child

feet in the grass towards a lilac shadow

reeling towards night

Wonder if I'll ever find her

Her softness and her hiding places

we can finally end all these games

We've long  been playing
